Yes: an AI redesign of the deck you already have. For 35 slides and about $300 the arithmetic is $8.57 a slide, which is below what per-slide agencies list. BetterPPT is $59 for 31–50 slides ($39 up to 30), once, with no subscription: it redesigns every slide individually and returns an editable .pptx in about 15–20 minutes for 30 slides, and a $9.90 deposit counts toward the price and shows you up to six of your own slides first. It does not check your science. Drug names, doses, endpoints and statistics stay your responsibility, so compare them with your original before the deck goes anywhere. Prices checked 2 November 2026.

The arithmetic for 35 slides
Slides IQ lists $10 per slide to clean up and $25 to redesign, so 35 slides is about $350 or $875 (checked 27 October). 24Slides lists fix-up at $11–$16 per slide and redesign at $28–$43, depending on turnaround, so 35 slides is about $385–$560 for a fix-up and $980–$1,505 for a redesign (its pricing page, checked 23 October and again 2 November). BetterPPT is $59 for 31–50 slides. These are listed starting prices, not quotes; a specialist who does science every day may quote a bulk price, so ask.

A real cover slide: from a meme poster to a concept image
The original cover is a stock meme poster: a baby in a striped hat above “DEPRESSION” and the line “Effecting everyone in this economy.”, in a black frame with a grey swoosh below it. The redesign keeps both lines word for word, sets the title in large dark type on a light background, and replaces the photo with a soft-focus synapse image. Look at the second line: the original says “Effecting”, and the redesign kept it, because the wording was left as written. It is a reminder to proofread your own text before you upload, because a tool set to keep every word will not correct it. The synapse is a concept image, not a scientific figure; do not use a generated picture as evidence, and keep your own validated diagrams in the deck.

What must not change in a science or medical deck
Before you pay, decide what has to stay exactly as written, and check it afterwards: drug and compound names, doses and units, trial endpoints and statistics (p-values, confidence intervals, n), table values, footnotes and citations, and approved medical or regulatory wording. Choose “keep every word” as the content mode, then compare the result with your original. The download menu has a text comparison report (a CSV of your original against the editable version) to find any difference quickly.

Mechanism diagrams and data tables: keep your own, check the rest
Tables and charts become part of the slide design: the numbers printed on them stay readable, but you cannot edit chart data afterwards, and a redrawn diagram can come back with a label wrong. Keep your own mechanism-of-action figures and validated charts as the source of truth, read every label on the result, and paste your original figure back in wherever a redrawn one is not exactly right. Clear original images are kept; weak or generic ones are replaced.

A brief you can paste into the setup page
“Keep every word, number, unit, drug name and citation exactly as written; do not add text, claims or data. Clean, credible life-science look: white or light background, one deep navy with one accent colour, one sans-serif font, a clear type scale and consistent margins and page numbers on every slide. Give each slide one focal point; show the key result or figure large. Keep my own data tables and scientific figures as supplied, and do not redraw mechanism diagrams. Keep our logo and footer on every slide.” Then choose “keep every word”.

Test two or three slides first
Choose a title slide, a data table and a mechanism diagram. The $9.90 deposit shows up to six of your own slides redesigned and counts toward the price. With a human agency, ask for the same sample before processing all 35 slides, and ask for an editable .pptx rather than a PDF.

Where a human specialist is still the better choice
Choose people if you need bespoke scientific illustration, a medical, legal and regulatory review of the content, custom animation, a client template followed placeholder by placeholder, or more than 50 slides. BetterPPT does not review scientific accuracy or regulatory compliance and has no in-browser editor. A mixed route can work: redesign the whole deck, then pay a specialist only for the mechanism slides.

Confidential data: what to ask before uploading
Slide content is processed by external AI models, and unpaid decks are deleted after 3 days. An NDA can be signed on request (email support@betterppt.com before you upload); it binds BetterPPT, and there are no HIPAA or business-associate arrangements. For unpublished clinical data or patient information, check your organisation’s rules first and upload a sanitised copy.

Who BetterPPT is for — and who it isn't
BetterPPT is an AI design agent that redesigns PowerPoint decks you've already written — every slide individually — and returns an editable .pptx. It is built for business decks where a lot is riding on the result, and where you already have the content. It isn't for a class assignment or a routine team update, where PowerPoint's own Designer or Canva's free plan is enough, and it isn't for a deck of more than 50 slides.

Questions
Is there a cheaper alternative to a life-science presentation agency that charges per slide?
An AI redesign of your existing deck: BetterPPT is $39 for up to 30 slides and $59 for 31–50, one-time, with no subscription. It does not review your science, so check every figure against your original.
How much would 35 slides cost?
$59 with BetterPPT, because 35 slides fall in the 31–50 tier. A $9.90 deposit counts toward the price and shows you up to six redesigned slides first. Per-slide agencies list about $10–$43 a slide, so roughly $350–$1,505 for 35.
Can AI redesign a deck without changing drug names, doses or statistics?
Choose “keep every word” and compare the result with your original, including every number and unit. Wording is carried over as written, so a typo in your own text stays; proofread before you upload.
Will my clinical data tables stay editable?
The text comes back as editable text boxes in a .pptx. Tables and charts become part of the slide picture, so you cannot edit their data afterwards; keep your original tables if someone must change values.
Is it safe to upload confidential or pre-IPO data?
Slide content is processed by external AI models. We can sign an NDA on request, but there are no HIPAA or business-associate arrangements. Upload a sanitised copy for sensitive data.
Bottom line
If the science is final and the slides need to look like a company worth backing, BetterPPT redesigns every slide individually and returns an editable .pptx: $59 for 31–50 slides, with a $9.90 deposit to see up to six of your own slides first.
