If you already have a deck, the choice is between three kinds of help: a human studio or freelancer (listed from $10 to $43 per slide, in hours to days), a tool that places your content into preset layouts (from $9 a deck), and an AI design agent that designs each slide on its own (BetterPPT: $39 for up to 30 slides, $59 for 31–50, about 15–20 minutes for 30 slides). All prices below were checked on each provider's own site between 23 and 28 October 2026. Pick by what is riding on the deck: how many slides, how soon, whether charts must stay editable, and whether your client's template must be followed to the letter.

Three kinds of help, and why they cost so differently
A human studio designs every slide by hand, so you pay per slide and wait hours or days. A layout tool pours your content into a set of preset layouts, which is why it can cost a few dollars. An AI design agent sits between them: BetterPPT reads the whole deck first, decides what each slide is for, then composes that slide's own layout and imagery. Designing slides one by one takes more work than filling layouts, so it costs more than the cheapest tools; it takes far less than a person, so it costs a fraction of a studio. Gamma, one of the best-known AI presentation makers, said in October 2026 that it had heard more complaints since early in the year about sameness and what its co-founder called “AI smell”; tools that reuse the same layouts tend to produce decks that look alike.

Human studios and freelancers: the right call when people matter more than speed
24Slides lists redesign at $28 per slide in 72 hours or $43 in 24 hours (its pricing page, 23 October); a 10-hour turnaround needs its $99-a-month Pro plan. Slides IQ lists $10 per slide to clean up, $25 to redesign and $32 to redraw, with an 8-hour rush option. Pixel Presentation charges $10 per slide with a 5-slide minimum: one working day per 5 slides, or per 10 slides on express for 25% more, two sample slides to approve first, and charts rebuilt as editable charts. SlidePartners lists USD 20 per slide for design only. Redesign Presentation lists packages from $150 for 10–15 slides, $250 for up to 30 slides with brand matching, and $450 for up to 50, typically in 24–72 hours. SkiFi publishes packages from $100, quotes each project, and usually delivers in 5–7 business days. On Fiverr and Upwork the seller sets the price, so ask for a sample slide before you commit. Choose a person when you need the story rebuilt, custom illustration or animation, charts that stay live in PowerPoint, or someone to talk it through over several rounds.

Preset-layout tools: the cheapest way, if its layouts suit your content
PitchBoost sells a single deck for $9 (up to 25 slides, with a PowerPoint download), and monthly plans from $7; its free plan covers up to 10 slides and gives you a link rather than a file. It says it keeps your content and numbers and rebuilds the layout in your brand. Decktopus AI Beautify says it works on decks of up to 100 slides and that every word, bullet and data point stays exactly as written, with the slide count and order unchanged; its page does not list a price. These are good picks for a large deck, a tight budget, or when its layouts are all you need. We haven't run either through our same-deck test, so judge the output on your own file, and look for repeated card layouts and generic icons.

Where BetterPPT fits: individually designed slides, in minutes, at a flat price
BetterPPT costs $39 for up to 30 slides and $59 for 31–50, once, with no subscription. A 30-slide deck takes about 15–20 minutes. You pay a $9.90 deposit first and see up to six of your own slides redesigned before you pay the rest. Every slide gets its own layout; your photos are re-composed, and new imagery is added where the slide needs it. You choose how much the wording may change: keep every word, light editing, or restructuring. Text comes back as real text boxes in an editable .pptx. On the setup page you can say what must stay on every slide — your logo, footer, page numbers, brand colors and fonts — and each slide keeps them. If a deck is confidential, we can sign an NDA on request: email support@betterppt.com before you upload. You also get free revisions by email for 7 days after purchase.

Why the limit is 50 slides, and what that means for you
BetterPPT is built for business decks, and business decks are short. Of the 55 decks customers paid for (deposit or full) in the 90 days to 28 October 2026, the median had 17 slides, 52 had 30 or fewer, and the longest had 45. A limit of 50 slides and 50 MB covers them with room to spare, and it is what lets us design each slide on its own. If you have 60 to 100 slides, split the deck into two files, or use a tool built for long decks such as Decktopus AI Beautify (up to 100 slides).

Which one to pick, by situation
Under $50 and tonight, 10 slides: PitchBoost's $9 one-time purchase, or BetterPPT at $39 if you want every slide designed individually. Investor meeting in 48 hours and your designers are booked: start BetterPPT now, check the preview and your numbers against the original, and contact Slides IQ or 24Slides rush in parallel as a backup. The client's PowerPoint template must be followed exactly: a human service that works inside the template you upload, such as SlideBazaar. If you only need their logo, footer and brand colors on every slide, BetterPPT can do that from your setup instructions. Charts must stay live and editable: keep those slides as they are, or choose a human service that rebuilds charts as native charts, such as Pixel Presentation. A confidential deck: ask for an NDA. BetterPPT can sign one on request; slide content is still processed by external AI models, whose retention terms are their own, so a sanitised copy is the safest upload.

Whichever you choose, test with one sample first
Ask for two representative slides — one text-heavy, one with a chart or image — before you pay for the whole deck. Check that the layouts differ from slide to slide, that photos and icons don't look stock or generic, that any text inside generated images is readable rather than garbled, and that every number still matches your original. A person or a tool that won't show you a sample is a risk you don't need to take.

Who BetterPPT is for — and who it isn't
BetterPPT is an AI design agent that redesigns PowerPoint decks you've already written — every slide individually — and returns an editable .pptx. It is built for business decks where a lot is riding on the result — a client proposal, an investor meeting, a board update, a tender, a promotion defence — and where you already have the content. It isn't for a class assignment or a routine team update, where PowerPoint's own Designer or Canva's free plan is enough, and it isn't for a deck of more than 50 slides.

Questions
What is a cheaper alternative to 24Slides?
24Slides lists $28 per slide for a 72-hour redesign and $43 for 24 hours (checked 23 October 2026). Cheaper human options list $10 per slide at Pixel Presentation and Slides IQ (clean-up) and $20 at SlidePartners; PitchBoost sells one deck of up to 25 slides for $9; BetterPPT charges $39 for up to 30 slides and $59 for 31–50, with every slide designed individually.
What is an alternative to Fiverr or Upwork for redesigning a PowerPoint?
A service where you upload the deck and get slides back, with no hiring step. BetterPPT is one: upload a .pptx, choose how much the wording may change, see up to six redesigned slides for a $9.90 deposit, then pay the rest. A studio such as Pixel Presentation also works from your file and shows two sample slides first.
Is there a PowerPoint redesign service under $50?
Yes. BetterPPT is $39 for up to 30 slides, so a 10-slide and a 30-slide deck cost the same. PitchBoost sells a single deck of up to 25 slides for $9. Human studios list $10 per slide at the low end, so a 5-slide clean-up is about $50.
Why are AI redesign tools cheaper than human designers, and why do they differ from each other?
A person designs every slide by hand, so cost rises with every slide. Tools that fill preset layouts do the least work per slide and cost the least. BetterPPT reads the whole deck, decides each slide's role and designs its layout and imagery individually, which takes more work than layout filling, so it costs more than the cheapest tools and far less than a studio.
Can I get a PowerPoint redesigned tonight?
Yes for most business decks: BetterPPT processes about 30 slides in 15–20 minutes, and a $9.90 deposit shows you up to six redesigned slides first. For an investor or board meeting, check the preview and compare every number with your original before you present.
Does BetterPPT keep my logo, footer and template?
Tell us on the setup page what must stay on every slide, such as your logo, footer, page numbers, brand colors and fonts, and each slide keeps them. BetterPPT works from your file; it doesn't load a PowerPoint template (.potx) or lock slides to a master, so a client template that must be followed to the letter is a job for a studio that works inside the template you upload.
Bottom line
If you already have the deck and want every slide designed individually, BetterPPT is $39 for up to 30 slides and $59 for 31–50. Start with a $9.90 deposit and see up to six of your own slides before you pay the rest.
